A New Years house swap

We got lucky and swapped our house on Waiheke for a 16 acre organic farm in Kerikeri with a river and some Shetland Ponies (big hit with Zuva).

Pete, Katherine and Toby came with us for a few days and on the evening of the first day Pete and I wandered around the garden delighting in the vibrant colours.

The next day we went to Kerikeri and spent some time at the Stone Store basin.

 

Zuva quickly fell in love with Moony the brown Shetland pony and from the first day showed horse handling skills beyond her age.

Zuva needed to get her wiggles out

We went to Onetangi and moments after this she stripped off and played in the ocean for 20 minutes. That did the trick!
